Canoe trips through the unique, almost limitless  river landscapes are particularly popular with people who are sporty by nature. You can enjoy yourself everywhere in Brandenburg in and on the water: while bathing or fishing or while going on a sailing or motor boat trip or even during a leisurely trip with a steamship on the Havel. Cyclists above all appreciate the Brandenburg Holiday Destination as it provides an extensive network of cycle paths, on which you can practically find your way into every corner of the country.

Even more destinations are available for the enterprising spirit - and also for walkers. At festivals and cultural events, in museums and leisure parks, each visitor can pursue his or her interests and get to know the country and its people. For instance, an industrial monument, such as Mildenberg Brickworks Centre in the Ruppiner Land (Ruppin area) is worth a visit in order to get to know the history of the country and of its regions better. Historic workshops, exhibitions and an extensive leisure and games sector make the visit an experience. Castles, which in summer become the scenes of medieval festivals and form the backdrop for lively and colourful travels in time, also offer a graphic and entertaining gain in knowledge, while staying in the fresh air. For the amateur natural historian, the limestone quarries and open-cast mining areas are a worthwhile destination.
