Description:
Antonio Vivaldi deserves the credit of having rescued the bassoon from its shadowy existence as an accompanying instrument: he wrote 37 concerts for the bassoon! A soloist of this rare concert form even to the present day is the young Daniel Mohrmann - among other distinctions, he has several times been the first laureate in the federal competition ”Jugend musiziert“ (young people perform music) and was awarded a special prize by the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben (German Foundation of Musical Life). Concert trips have already taken him all over Europe, to Russia and China.
