Description:
The summer opera performances in the late Gothic cloister of Kloster Neuzelle (monastery), in the Medieval courtyard of the castle in Beeskow, in the rural Kunstscheune Ragower Mühle (art barn of the mill) as well as on Ziegenwerder, an island in Frankfurt (Oder), have been some of the highlights of the Brandenburger Kulturjahr (year of culture) for many years. The international festival “Musiktheaterfestival OperOderSpree” supports young artists from Germany and the East European countries in their education and provides possibilities to them for encounters as well as for practical experience on stage.
