Sanssouci from a Different Perspective (Tour S-R9)

Sanssouci palace A walking tour away from the tourist route. Romantic leafy arcades and overgrown paths lead you to Sanssouci Palace. The route continues from the Historic Windmill with its many legends, to the Orangery which is the only completed section of Frederick William IV’s planned “Triumph Avenue”, and finishes at the New Palace.

Schinkel’s Italian Dream in Sanssouci (Tour S-R10)

Charlottenhof palace Considered by many to be the most beautiful section of the park, take a walk around Schinkel’s Charlottenhof Palace and the Roman Baths designed by Ludwig Persius. Together with Lenné, he created this landscape for King Frederick William IV with a touch of Italian style. The route continues to the Marly Garden and the Church of Peace.

Potsdam Night of the Palaces (Tour S-SN)

Orangerie Sanssouci Your visit to Potsdam begins with a “palace boat trip” – Babelsberg Park, Peacock Island and Cecilienhof Palace are just a few of the highlights. This is followed by a tour of the city’s historic centre and traditional Prussianstyle coffee, guaranteed to get you in the mood for the day’s grand finale, the Potsdam Night of the Palaces.

The Great Elector and Prussian Primers (Tour SH1)

Reckahn palace Situated in a scenic spot on the Havel River, Albert Einstein’s former home, Caputh, is an appealing destination. After a guided tour of Caputh Palace, you will move on to the palaces of Paretz and Reckahn. In Reckahn you will also attend a lesson in one of the original classrooms at the village school. To round the day off, Prussian-style coffee will be served at the Palace (optional).
