1st day: Arrival to Cottbus
Check in at the hotel

2nd day: Cottbus – Peitz – Burg (approx. 42 km)
The day starts with a guided tour through the city of the clothier, Cottbus. The bicycle tour guides along the Spree at Peitz to one of the largest pond area in Europe. The next stops will be Dissen and Burg in the Spreewald, the largest village in Germany. The return trip takes place with the bus.

3rd day: Burg – Straupitz – Lübben – Lübbenau (approx. 45 km)
After we drove again with the bus to Burg, we start with the bicycles to Straupitz. The neo-classical church, which developed here after the drafts of Karl Friedrich Schinkel, and the smock mill are very famous for Straupitz. During our tour we drive through the places of the Spreewald Lübben and Lübbenau. In the afternoon we explore the Spreewald with the tub and have opportunity to inform us about the history of the cucumber production and get also the typical Spreewaelder cucumber taste.

4th day: Lübbenau – Leipe – Raddusch – Burg –Werben – Cottbus (approx. 42 km)
Today we will travel back to the history. A visit of the Slavic Fort in Raddusch will show you the life of the sorbs 1000 years ago. After that we drive over Burg to Cottbus. In the afternoon there is the possibility to stroll in Cottbus.

5th day: Lübben – Schlepzig – Leibsch – Groß Wasserburg Golßen (approx. 52 km)
The trip in the Spreewald shows us the unaffected nature of this region. High point of the cucumber route will be the inspection of the largest firm of the Spreewald which inlay cucumbers.

6th day: Departure

1st day: Arrival to Cottbus
After the check in at the hotel you become acquainted with Cottbus at a guided tour.

2nd day: Parks and Gardens: Forst – Bad Muskau – Kromlau (approx. 46 km)
Today you will recover two of the most famous parkways which were created by Fürst Hermann Pückler. At first we stroll through the Branitzer Park which is famous for the two pyramids. At our bicycle tour you can visit the Forster rosarium. Furthermore we stop over in the Pückler-park in Bad Muskau which is a part of the UNESCO world heritage. At the end of the present tour a visit of the landscape- and rhododendron park is projected.

3rd day: Excursion to the Spreewald: Peitz – Dissen – Burg – Raddusch (approx. 45 km)
One of the most beautiful fluvial topography is due us today. Our tour starts at one of the largest connected seascapes in Germany and guide along the Spree to Burg. In Burg we will marvel the amenity of the Spreewald with a tub. The Fürst-Pückler-Park ends at the Slavic Fort in Raddusch.

4th day: Through the seascape of the Lusatia: Spremberg – Welzow – Geierswalde - Senftenberg (approx. 50 km)
The largest artificial seascapes in Germany come into existence in the south of Brandenburg. Different seas emerge in lignite open pits which will affiliate with each other in the near future. During our bicycle tour we will see also a swimming house. En route there is the possibility to see over an active open pit from a viewpoint.

5th day: From artists to leviathan: Pritzen – Groß Räschen – Lichterfeld – Finsterwalde (approx. 42 km)
The village Pritzen should give way to the open pits actually but after the dismissal of the lignite extraction a lot of artists settle in the village. The next stop is Groß Räschen where you can catch upon the development of the region at the IBA Terraces. A highlight in the trust sense of the word will be the visit of the conveyor bridge F60. The steel giant is 500 metres long and 80 metres high and looks like a horizontal Eiffel tower.

6th day: Departure

You are visiting the homeland of the Slavonian people of the sorbs who live there since the 6th century. Starting point is the secret capital of the sorbs, Bautzen. From Bautzen you will drive to the country of the cloister water with attendance of the Sorbian cemetery in Ralbitz, the pilgrimage church Rosenthal, Cistercian monastery the St. Marienstern over the heath and pond landscape of the upper Lusatia to the Spreewald and the Muskauer heath.
