Flaeming-Skate – Europe’s skating region to the south of Berlin

Only a few kilometres to the south of Berlin’s city limits you find the Mecca for cyclists and for inline skaters. The heart of FLAEMING-SKATE – the circular course RK 1 (an inline skating path) - is 100 kilometres in length, 3 metres in width and has a very smooth layer of asphalt. Thus, it is Europe’s longest connected inline skating path. The whole network offers lovers of inline skating the experience of more than 185 kilometres of cycle and inline skating paths. In its unparalleled proportions, the route leads through the Brandenburg country in a circuit. FLAEMING-SKATE is pure relaxation for everyone on rollers and wheels. Visitors glide through the Baruther Urstromtal (the lowland of the river Baruth) and the Niedere Fläming (the Lower Fläming area) far away from interfering car traffic. Smaller circuits invite you to ride along them. Nature and countryside as well as the sights of the Fläming region can be explored at the same time.
