The tour from the Berlin-Buch or Bernau bei Berlin S-Bahn stations to Lake Liepnitzsee or on to Lake Wandlitzsee is ideal for children and less fit cyclists. Depending on fitness levels, people on a day out can decide whether to cycle from Buch along the Berlin-Usedom long distance cycle route that goes right past the train station or to take the train into the small Brandenburg town. From Bernau train station, you first go through the centre past the town wall and Museum Henkerhaus to a cycle path along the road that ends right at Lake Liepnitzsee.
