Here you’ll find the best views! This staircase, formerly known as the Bismarcktreppe, provides a fantastic view of the town from a height of 42 metres above sea level.
The open staircase was planned to overcome the steep slope and was built in 1936. At the same time, the staircase also had a decorative function, and its design was inspired by the older Schillertreppe. The greenery that accompanies it was designed by town garden inspector Fritz Schuhmann.
