The first documentary reference to the Mittelmühle mill, located southwest of Teupitz, is from 1546. In the past, grain and meal were processed into flour here. But it also operated as a sawmill for the production of beams and boards from logs from the surrounding area. Nowadays a country inn, it is idyllically situated in the forest next to a water-lily pond. Holidaymakers, families and clubs can indulge in German cuisine here. The inn is ideally located as a place to stop for a bite to eat after a hike around Lake Tornow, with 60 guests able to be accommodated in the dining area and beer garden.
