The Tourist Information is centrally located at Motzen Lake in the Haus des Gastes Motzen and houses the Motzen Museum of Local History and a small library with plenty of space to relax and linger.  

The range of services includes:

- Support in your search for accommodation

- Advice and information for individual and group travelers

- Free information material about the region and its surroundings

- Sale of hiking, cycling and postcards as well as souvenirs of the Paul Gerhardt town of Mittenwalde

- free guest WLAN for unlimited surfing

The Haus des Gastes is a good starting point for numerous hiking trails for short and longer tours in and around the town. For example, two brickyard hiking trails lead to Motzen-Mühle and Seebadsiedlung for a leisurely stroll, or two circular hiking trails around Kahler Berg and the Motzen golf course. For longer hiking tours, it is also recommended to start here on the Fontaneweg and the Paul-Gerhardt-Weg in the direction of the Spreewald or to Königs Wusterhausen.
