The Elster Park with its TraumHaus accommodation designed to be accessible to people with disabilities is the perfect base or stop-off for nature-lovers and long-distance cycle tourists. You and the whole family can reach interesting sights in the surrounding region with a trekking bike (we have nine ladies’ and five men’s bikes available), one of two e-bikes or also two children’s bicycles from our rental base: the Natural History Museum in Kleinrössen, Neudeck Palace or the Kiebitz local recreation area.

The cycle path through the Elster Park is also part of the Schwarze Elster River Cycle Path, the Elster Bicycle Tour or the Kohle-Wind & Wasser Tour (Coal, Wind and Water). We are also able to arrange transfers for individual days out. We will transport you and your bikes to the starting point of your choice, assist with planning and provide you with lots of useful information. 

We have an emergency tool kit available for all cycle tourists. While their e-bike batteries and e-bikes are charging, cyclists have the option of recharging their own batteries in the adjoining BlauHaus restaurant. 

Our rental station is located in the boathouse at the BlauHaus.

The rental base can be reached during the peak season (April to October) on the telephone number: +49 3535 4830 120. Please book in advance by telephone as the rental base is not permanently manned.
