Apple Day takes place here every autumn – a harvest festival in the Hohenleipisch-Döllingen orchard region. Everything revolves around fruit growing and horticulture and the wide variety of apples. There is also a varied social programme based around apples.

  • Train: Take the RE3 regional train from Berlin-Südkreuz to Falkenberg (Elster), then take the S4 rapid transit train to Bad Liebenwerda (about 2 hours).
  • Car: Take the A13 motorway and B87 to Bad Liebenwerda via Luckau and Schlieben (about 2 hours).

Route: Bad Liebenwerda, Maasdorf, Thalberg, Rückersdorf, Oppelhain, Hohenleipisch, Döllingen, Plessa, Elsterwerda, Saathain, Würdenhain, Zeischa, Dobra, Bad Liebenwerda
