How to get there:
  • Recommendation: Travelling by train and bike, starting point (=car parking space) difficult to get to by public transport from the finish
  • from Berlin-Südkreuz, take the RE5 (Elsterwerda) to Luckau-Uckro and then 5 kilometres to Dahme (Mark) by bike (about 2 hours)

Return journey:

  • from Uebigau-Wahrenbrück, about 4 kilometres by bike to Falkenberg (Elster) and then take the RE3 to Berlin central station (about 2 hours)

  • Dahme: Half-timbered houses, neo-Renaissance town hall, castle grounds
  • Herzberg: Town hall, brick church of St Mary’s, Botanic Gardens
  • Uebigau-Wahrenbrück: Market square
