The fifteenth stage of the Tour Brandenburg extends 87 kilometres from Uebigau-Wahrenbrück to Luckenwalde. The tour initially follows the Schwarze Elster to Herzberg with its famous art nouveau garden. Then you reach the Fläming near Wiepersdorf and its castle. You then reach Luckenwalde via Petkus.

How to get there: From Berlin central station, take the RE2 (Cottbus) to Lübben. From here you take the RB24 (Senftenberg) to Calau and then the RB43 (Falkenberg (Elster)) to Uebigau.

Return journey: From Luckenwalde take the RE3 regional trail to Berlin central station (about 45 minutes).

Route: Uebigau-Wahrenbrück, Bomsdorf, Kleinrössen, Herzberg (Elster), Bernsdorf, Grassau, Schönewalde, Ahlsdorf, Hohenkuhnsdorf, Wiepersdorf, Hohenseefeld, Heinsdorf, Wahlsdorf, Petkus, Ließen, Holbeck, Jänickendorf, Luckenwalde

  • Uebigau-Wahrenbrück: St. Nicholas’ Church
  • Kleinrössen: Nature conservation centre
  • Herzberg (Elster): Planetarium, Philipp Melanchton commemorative plaque, Wunderstein art nouveau garden

  • Ahlsdorf: Estate park, tea house
  • Wiepersdorf: Artists’ centre, castle
