Welcome to the Pension Havelfloß. Here you can spend the night in wonderful guest rooms with a view of the Havel river and/or explore the Brandenburg lake landscape with a Havel raft. The Pension Havelfloß is a stylishly renovated old building in the centre of Brandenburg an der Havel an der Jahrtausendbrücke. The room furnishings are modern and down-to-earth. The seven rooms on the upper floor with sleeping gallery are particularly original: falling asleep and waking up with a view of the Havel. Dreamlike! The Havel river bank, which is still very unspoilt in places, has an extraordinary charm. Here you can walk in autumnal morning fog as well as in summer sunshine, listen to the seagulls and let your thoughts run free. If you are attentive, you can observe kingfishers and beavers. For nature lovers this beautiful destination is just as worth a trip as for adventurers, culture lovers and architecture lovers. Within walking distance you will find the best conditions for a relaxing and varied time: Cafebar with canoe rental and sunbathing lawn, passenger shipping, raft rental, restaurants with fine cuisine, the Brandenburg Theatre, the three large old churches, museums and the shopping centre. What to know ...

Arrival/departure

  • Check-in between 2 pm and 7 pm, check-out by  11 am or by prior arrangement. Reception: 8 am - 7 pm, the Pension Havelfloß reception is in the café  in the "Brückenhäuschen" (also canoe hire!!). It is open daily. Room keys can be collected between 8 am and 7 pm. Only 35 m to the hotel. Handover times for Havel floats: 3 pm (collection), 12 noon (return)

Arrival description

  • Leave the A2 at the Brandenburg exit. Follow the B102 towards Zentrum/Dom (city centre). You will reach the centre via the St. Annen-Straße. At the traffic lights near the St. Annen-Galerie, turn right towards the Dominsel. Continue straight on to the traffic lights at the T-junction, then turn left onto Grillendamm and continue straight straight - warning: speed camera after the Homeneybrücke (bridge) in a 30 speed limit zone. Follow the main road, then take the second left onto Bäckerstraße, then the first left onto Altstädtische Wassertorstraße and then right onto Altstädtische Fischerstraße. The streets here are much narrower, but you are still on the right road! At the end of Altstädtische Fischerstraße turn left (sign for Pension Havelfloß) into our drive at the side of the hotel, after 30m you have reached your destination.
