Guests visit the historic craftsmen's alley in the old town, that castle with museum and adjacent zoo. Interesting facts about Konrad Zuse, the inventor of the 1st computer can be found in the Zuse Computer Museum. Other popular destinations are the energy factory in Knapppenrode, the erratic block park in Nochten and the Krabat mill in Schwarzkollm.

If you want to do some sports or just relax, the many lakes in the Lusatian Lakeland make it possible. According to their mood, visitors can go cycling, skating around the lakes or simply enjoy the great outdoors.
