This day tour takes you through the historic town centres of Potsdam and Beelitz along Lake Templiner See and Lake Schielowsee, and through forest and meadow landscapes. You start in the historic centre of Potsdam at the gates of the Sanssouci Palace Park with the charming Dutch Quarter and the baroque city centre. The tour finishes in the asparagus town of Beelitz. Get to know the historic old town on foot and visit the parish churches of Sankt Marien and Sankt Nicolai, the museum in the former post office, the town hall and the former water mill.

  • Train: From Berlin central station, take the S7 to Potsdam-Babelsberg (about 30 minutes).
  • Car: From Berlin via the A115 and Nuthestrasse to Potsdam-Babelsberg (about 45 minutes).

Return journey:

  • Train: From Beelitz-Heilstätten, take the RE7 (Wünsdorf-Waldstadt) to Berlin Zoologischer Garten (about 40 minutes).
  • Car: From Beelitz, take the RB33 to Berlin Wannsee. Continue from here by taking the S7 to Potsdam Babelsberg to your car (about 45 minutes).
