This day tour takes you through the historic town centres of Nauen, Kremmen und Neuruppin. This tour allows you to enjoy the peace and serenity of picturesque villages and small towns. You start in Nauen, where you can marvel at Mittelstrasse with its Wilhelminian-style buildings, Martin-Luther-Platz and St. Jakobi church. The tour continues to Kremmen with its market square flanked by town houses and Germany’s largest surviving barn district. The tour finishes in the town of Neuruppin, which is designed in a classicist style and is the birthplace of Fontane and Schinkel.

  • Train: From Berlin central station take the RB10 to Nauen (about 30 minutes).
  • Car: From Berlin, take the B5 to Nauen (about 1 hour).

Return journey:

  • Train: from Neuruppin, take the RE6 to Spandau. From here, you take the RE4 to Berlin central station (about 1.5 hours).
  • Car: From Neuruppin, take the RE6 (Spandau) to Falkensee. From here, take the RB10 to Nauen to your car (about 1.5 hours).
