This family business is a tradition-steeped coffee house and bistro – as can be seen from the historic inscription on the town house premises in the centre of Rheinsberg. “Konditorei Götsch” is emblazoned there in decorative script. Pastries have been produced here since 1949 and the business is now being run by the third generation of the family, still using traditional recipes. Savoury snacks are also served.

The interior of the café is rustic with old half-timbered beams. Historical, black-and-white photographs show views of the town as it once was. After coffee and cake, you can take a walk along the promenade on nearby Lake Gienericksee to the palace.
