The facility is entirely wheelchair-friendly and offers various mounting options for different handicaps to enable riders to handle the horses as independently as possible. Helping people to help themselves is very important here.

Based on Bobath, Alexander Technique and Feldenkrais, an “exercise therapy on horseback” is offered that has been developed in Radensleben since 2005. Customers from all over Europe and Asia use this combination of riding therapy with physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. What is more, competitive athletes from various disciplines draw on this innovative success for the purpose of regeneration and muscle-building after injury.

The therapy includes the following services:
  •     from 5 days stay with individual training
  • Initial test with recommendations for the therapy content and coordination with the therapists
  • two daily sessions of 30 minutes of exercise therapy on horseback (planned individually)

The areas of application are very comprehensive:

  •     Paraplegia
  •     Psychological illnesses, including PTSD
  •     Amputation
  •     Injuries of the musculoskeletal system
  •     Dementia / Alzheimer / Parkinson
