A cobbled street leads all the way through the charming artists’ village Ihlow and to the organic farm Biohof Ihlow. The farm is idyllically located on the edge of the village and surrounded by the Märkische Schweiz Nature Park. The owner Marion Rothschild loves having visitors and to furnish guest rooms. She is a piano teacher as her day job.

Café and organic food shop

The special feature of the farm is the picturesque yet down-to-earth café she runs in the former cattle stable. Here you can enjoy freshly baked cake and savoury snacks. There is also a shop with a small range of organic and regional products. On colder days, hikers can warm up by the wood-burning fireplace and enjoy a cup of tea with a dash of rum while taking in the cosy atmosphere. In fair weather, the lawn outside the café right next to the big village pond is a wonderful place to watch frogs, rare fire-bellied toads, herons and sometimes even the odd crane close up.

Product range

Freshly baked cake, savoury meals and snacks: Soup, salad, vegetarian and meat dishes, home-made apple, pear, elderberry and rhubarb juice

Bought-in organic products: Dairy products, eggs, honey, fruit, vegetables, herbs, dried goods, and just about everything else you might need

Additional opening hours

The owner is happy to open for spontaneous visitors and holiday guests by request. Holiday guests are welcome to shop at almost any time.
