The "Bischofsschloss" (bishop's castle) was built as part of a medieval castle complex. When the diocese moved to Fürstenwalde in 1385 it became part of the bishop's castle. Extensively refurbished in 2012 by private investors, the building now houses a restaurant. The restaurant serves regional dishes made using fresh regional products and it hosts a brunch every other Sunday of the month. The historic vaulted basement can be hired for weddings. Seats: 25 in the restaurant, 60 in the vaulted basement (from the year 1353), 50 on the terrace.
On request, the "lord of the castle" will take you on a tour of the old "bishop's castle of Fürstenwalde".
