The laying of the foundation stone of the Holy Family Parish Church took place on April 24, 1905. Thanks to the parishioners who worked day and night on the construction of the church, the cruciform building, erected in the neo-Romanesque style on a limestone base, with a bell tower standing on its side, was completed in only seven months and consecrated on November 12 of the same year.

In 1978, the VEB Frankfurter Orgelbau (now again Sauer, Frankfurt (Oder)) installed a small organ model I with 523 pipes, 8 stops and 1 manual, which is still in use today. As in almost all Catholic churches, the parish church of the Holy Family also has 14 station pictures with depictions from the Passion of Jesus on the walls of the church. The content is largely derived from the Gospels; beginning with the condemnation of Jesus by Pilate and ending with the burial of the crucified.
