The unique unspoilt beauty of the countryside of eastern Brandenburg is also reflected by the manor house Schlossgut Alt Madlitz and its historic landscape park. The carefully restored building structure of the estate is home to the administration office, a farm shop, a number of cosy holiday apartments and the old blacksmith's shop. The former inspector’s house of the Finckenstein estate is now home to the lovingly furnished park café and four guest rooms. Home-made cake is served in a homely atmosphere, and there is also a reading corner with books about the history, people and stories of the Margraviate of Brandenburg.
