Those who approach Wukow from the south, will see an unusual building to the left of the road, just before the village entrance. Looking exactly like the common idea of an alien spaceship, the low-energy house ‘Domespace’ that is known as the UFO lives up to its nickname.

The local ‘Ökospeicher’ association has been renting out the circular low-energy house as a holiday home for a number of years now. Guests can rent the entire UFO with 8 beds in twin rooms (1 extra bed can be added), a kitchen and bathrooms on each storey, and a spacious and cosy lounge area.

The holiday home is quietly situated, surrounded by the attractive natural environment of huge open grounds with a pond and a beach volleyball court. In the outdoor area there are garden furniture, barbecue equipment, a fire pit and four parking spaces. Further affordable overnight accommodation options, a café and an organic food shop are located in the Ökospeicher building in the village centre.

On its four storeys, the former grain silo ‘Ökospeicher’ in the heart of the village, features a café, an organic food shop, a visitor centre with a gallery, seminar rooms and accommodation for up to 20 people.

You can explore the beautiful nature of the Lebuser Land region by bike. One option is to ride or skate along the Oder-Neiße Cycle Path (about 10 kilometres). The Lebus plateau with its diverse landscape is the ideal place for anyone wishing to experience a balanced ecosystem. The area is characterised by pond landscapes, lowland fens, mixed forests, wetlands and dry grass areas. Fields, kettle holes, hedges and shrubs are home to various animal and plant species. A visit to Wulkow with its outstanding natural environment is bound to become unforgettable.
