The Historic Lido by Lake Straussee, dating from 1925, has both a sunbathing lawn and a sandy bathing area, separate non-swimmer and swimmer areas, children’s slide, 5 metre diving tower and a 5 metre slide. Running from the north-east to the south-west, Lake Straussee is around 3.8 kilometres long and some 600 metres wide.

Current information: 

Due to the low water level at Straussee, the outdoor pool is closed for safety reasons. Unfortunately, no bathing is possible in the outdoor pool until the appropriate renovation measures have been taken.

Visitors can cross Lake Straussee from Strausberg by ferry and reach the district known as “The place on the other side”.
  • 50 metre sandy bathing area
  • 2 sunbathing lawns
  • Non-swimmer area with children’s slide
  • Diving board, 1 metre
  • Diving tower, 3 metres and 5 metres
  • Water slide, 5 metres
  • Snack bar
