The bathing area with the big sunbathing area is very close to the natural campsite. Tall pine trees provide shade, and the forest soil of the sunbathing area has a slight incline. There are toilets, a snack bar that is open during the peak season, and parking is also available.

The water in the bathing area is regularly monitored by the district health authority in accordance with the Brandenburg Bathing Water Ordinance and is of excellent quality. The 66 Lakes Hiking Trail goes past the southern edge of the bathing area on the trail along the lake shore.

Grubensee is located in a nature conservation area. We therefore ask all visitors to observe the nature reserve regulations and to use the two designated bathing areas. Water vehicles, including air mattresses, SUPs and surfing boards are not permitted.
