Through the Spreewald and the Lausitz Region - Crafts, Castles, Fortress Walls: What might the life of the lord of the castle have been like? What did the thick castle walls protect him from? And how do the crafts of times gone by differ from those of today? The magnificent surviving manor houses and the centuries-old castles tell you all about it. Elsewhere, you will come across crafts still practised today, such as in the potteries and traditional costume embroidery businesses in the Spreewald. And museums in the region ensure that other old crafts are not forgotten.
