Brandenburg’s biggest natural lake with a size of more than thirteen square kilometres is ideal for explorers. The water level is regulated by a dense network of streams, such as Ressener and Doberburger Mühlenfließ. Most prominent, however, is the river Spree that flows through the north-western part of the lake. Paddlers continuing on the Spree can therefore go all the way to Berlin.
Pedal boats, Canadian canoes, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, water steppers, licence-free motor boats for up to eight people and fishing boats are available for rent from Bootsvermietung Kossatz.
