At the southern exit of the town on Reptener Chaussee you will find Vetschau Sommerbad. Opened in 1927, this municipal swimming facility is surrounded by meadows, fields and forests and is still kept in the style of the 1920s. Many areas are under monument protection such as the wooden changing buildings at right angles to each other and the ticket office with the bicycle shed opposite. Due to its impressive water surface of 1,250 square metres, 50-metre lanes and a giant plug painted on the floor of the pool, it is also referred to as “the biggest bathtub in Lower Lusatia”.
