Reiersdorf is a forest settlement in the northern part of the Schorfheide area and can be reached by public transport, coach companies and via the Uckermark circular cycle path and Berlin-Usedom long-distance cycle route.

FledermausWaldschule

In our forest school, the central theme of “the bat” is the starting point for learning about our natural environment in an unusual way, full of sport and adventure. The bat is a fascinating inhabitant of the forest that perfectly reflects the forest as a dynamic space, constantly changing through the seasons, with a range of different habitats. In this way, it can teach the next generation how everything relates within the living community of the forest.

Activities

All age groups are welcome! Pre-school children, children from classes 1 to 12, plus families, seniors and people with disabilities can choose from our wide range of activities. The various elements that we offer are ideal for organised events and do not depend on the seasons. There’s something for everyone, from forest adventure walks, forest seminars, rallies, project days in the forest to the Forest Youth Games!
  • experience the world upside down
  • go hunting for prey as a “flying creature”
  • try being guided (only) by hearing
  • experience the forest at night
  • survive in the community
  • sagas & myths, bats as a symbol of luck, charity and death
