The new town harbor in Lychen has been open since June 25, 2023.

The small harbor also called city jetty (post office) is located in the city lake of Lychen. This forms the center of the seven lakes of the Lychen lake cross. The town lake is about 900 m long and 350 m wide. It is part of the federal waterway Lychener Gewässer. The Eberswalde Water and Shipping Authority is responsible. The lake is very rich in nutrients and an angler's paradise. The main fish species are eel, tench, zander.

A wood-clad container building with a roof terrace and many seating options in a beautiful ambience has been created. Below is the bistro and a small store with regional products, including the Lychener Gin, which can be tasted in the Gin Bar on the roof terrace.

The jetty has 24 berths for permanent moorers, guest moorers and short moorings up to 4 hours. Electricity and fresh water supply is provided. Public parking directly at the jetty.
