Visitors to the open-air museum on the shore of the Hohensaaten-Friedrichsthaler waterway will meet Schwedt’s last fisherman. The catch is for sale just next to the smokers. Germany’s smallest open-air fishery museum is a special attraction, showing various fishing utensils and a wooden cabin full of fishing equipment. Pedal and rowing boats are available for rent next door. There is also a restaurant on the shore, and visitors can buy fishing permits.
