The following events take place:
  • FilmKunst(film art) day
  • Cinema day every Tuesday
  • Cinema for seniors with classic films from the East and West. Films always start at 3 p.m., tickets Euro 6 and 10; you can get in the mood for the film over coffee and cakes from 2 p.m., and have plenty of time for a chat.
  • KinoCafé - October to April every Wednesday from 3 p.m., new playing time.  You can get into the mood for your film in the KinoCafé from 2 p.m. on, with coffee and cake for Euro 2.50.
  • School presentations - These special presentations can start between 8 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, as required. You can also use the cinema auditorium - if available - for teaching before or after the school presentation,
  • FerienKino (holiday cinema) - classic films at pocket money prices
  • SpatzenKino - films for children aged 4 and above, for pre-school and nursery children, and also children with their parents
  • Live events - Enjoy the world’s greatest concert highlights, plus exciting music documentaries and high-quality opera broadcasts as one-off events, often live, on the big screen.
  • Family day - at children’s prices. Every adult accompanied by at least one child under the age of 12 just pays the children’s price if they attend the same performance on Sundays before 6 p.m. (Age rating 0 or 6)!
  • Children’s birthdays - Celebrate your next birthday here in the FilmforUM, with your favourite film from our current cinema programme and everything that goes with it: The best seats, delicious popcorn and drinks plus a little gift for the birthday girl or boy!
