The natural bathing area at Großer Kiessee II lake is near the Bestensee campsite. It adjoins the Kleine Kiessee I lake. The Große Kiessee was certified by the Ministry for the Environment, Health and Consumer Protection (MUGV) of the State of Brandenburg as having excellent water quality. The bathing area has a sandy sunbathing lawn plus bathroom facilities through the campsite.
