It has long since ceased to be an insider tip that you do not have to travel to the Lüneburg Heath to experience the stunning natural spectacle of the heath blossom. From August to September, the Märkische Heide affords hikers an inspiring natural experience on over 400 hectares in the Forsthaus Prösa nature reserve. There are forest car parks at the start in Dobra, Theisa, Friedersdorf, Oppelhain, Hohenleipisch and Kraupa.
