The village church of Buchow-Karpzow, located in the district of Buchow-Karpzow within the municipality of Wustermark, is one of the notable sacred buildings in the Havelland region. It was built at the end of the 18th century as a rectangular, plastered hall church on the foundations of an earlier church that had been destroyed during the Thirty Years’ War.

The church’s external appearance is defined by a simple nave with a high gabled roof and a timber-clad roof tower that was added in 1824. Inside, historical furnishings combine with intricate design: an old organ from 1723—or rather its Baroque organ case with depictions of angels—forms the centerpiece of the chancel and reflects the craftsmanship of earlier centuries.

Around the church building, on the churchyard, are grave monuments of the von Bredow family, closely linking the village’s history with the church and providing insight into local traditions and generations past.
