The needle weir in Gülpe is located on the Gülper Havel at kilometre 127.63. It is a listed monument and one of the few surviving needle weirs. Directly next to the needle weir there is an undershoot weir and a barge lock, which can be used to circumnavigate the weir by canoe and kayak. The barge lock is self-service.
