A public barbecue area has been available at the Gondelteich pond in Hoyerswerda since April 2025. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the Lausitzbad and is equipped with a metal pavilion, two solid barbecue areas, granite seating areas, children's play elements and a barefoot path.

Use is only possible after prior registration - at least one week in advance by e-mail. The access key can be collected and returned during the opening hours of the Lausitzbad. There is a usage fee of 10 euros and a deposit of 20 euros for the key. In addition, a valid identity card must be presented.

Please note that the charcoal used should burn out completely during your own period of use.
