A qualified tour guide leads the participants of the culinary city tour for about 2.5 hours through the scenery of the old town of Hoyerswerda and explains many historical events and the significance of Hoyerswerda in medieval Lusatia. Among other things, you can see the Hoyerswerda Castle, the oldest street in the city as well as the historic marketplace and much more. In between, several stops will be made at three different regional vendors of the city and their delicacies will be tasted in different variations. Along the way, stories are told about the origins of the businesses, the crafts and the ideas of the vendors. Tickets can be purchased up to 7 days before the tour (once per quarter public), subject to the minimum number of participants of 6 to a maximum of 10 people, at the Tourist Information Office, located in the Kulturfabrik, Braugasse 1. The offer is not suitable for diabetics, vegans or people with lactose and gluten intolerance.
