The Green Classroom is an environmental education center on Lake Senftenberg. It offers school classes, families and groups of up to 30 people the opportunity to experience nature hands-on and learn together outdoors. The site is freely accessible during opening hours. It includes a near-natural garden with snack plants, fruit trees and compost, covered seating and interactive learning stations suitable for children. The grounds can also be used for workshops, project weeks, team days and other events by prior arrangement. Sanitary facilities and storage options are available. Some offers and events are organized in cooperation with the Senftenberg Regional Association for Nature Conservation.
