The extensive Deichvorland Schadebeuster river forelands in front of the dyke lie between the towns of Wittenberge and Hinzdorf. Most cyclists on the Elbe Cycle Path only see this landscape as they cycle by. But it is also worth leaving the dyke to take a break on the wonderful grassed areas along the River Elbe. You can watch the wildlife and inland shipping at your leisure. Take a rest because breaks also form part of every tour. The only things breaking the silence are the gurgle of water, the rustling of grass, and the mooing of cows.
