The camper van site can be used all year round free of charge. The contact point is the visitor centre.

The area has room for 7 mobile homes, which may also be over 8 metres long, and is signposted and lit. The ground surface is composite concrete blocks. It is located in the town in the visitors’ parking area. Services include a Dixi toilet in the parking area. Dogs are allowed. 

The site is right by the Elbe Cycle Path in the European stork village of Rühstädt and thus offers a wide range of leisure opportunities. The Farming Museum is also nearby, along with the Schlosshotel Rühstädt, the Quitzow Church, the castle grounds and a hiking trail. There are catering outlets in town.
