One of the most beautiful sections of the Ruppiner Land Circular Trail covers a distance of 26 kilometres from Neuruppin to Braunsberg.  The trail takes you from one lake to the next – simply alternating between eastern and western shores. There are perfect bathing spots to discover everywhere.

How to get there: From Berlin central station (Hauptbahnhof), take the EC378 (Kiel) to Spandau. From here, take the RE6 (Wittenberge) regional train to Neuruppin (about 1.5 hours)

Return journey: From Braunsberg take bus 794 (Schloss Rheinsberg) to Rheinsberg, Untermühle. From here take bus 764 (Neuruppin) to Lindow. Change to another bus, number 784, to get to Gransee and from here finally take the RE5 (Wünsdorf-Waldstadt) to Berlin central station.
