Stones are works of art – created over billions of years: At this site between Berlin and the Oderbruch not only field stones and boulders are collected and put on display, artists are also given the opportunity to work on these boulders and exhibit their own stone works of art. In addition to stone sculptures, the Lapidarium also contains stones from water springs, fire boulders, stone benches, stone tables, stone animals and much more on a surface area of 10,000 square metres at Ruhlsdorfer Herrensee. The hosts at Findlingshof welcome not just artists but people of all ages to explore the life of stones.

The young moraine landscape of Märkische Schweiz is the result of the forces exerted by the inland ice during the Vistula Glacial Period, which covered large parts of the region up until about 11,600 years ago. Embark on a hike – with a guide if you wish – through the magical, spiritual sites of the great boulders, springs, moors, lakes and ancient forests formed thousands of years ago. Tap into your own personal strength and creativity and express this through self-discovered stone.
