It was opened in the village’s old school building in 1998. The museum’s more than 2500 exhibits include many interesting items from the areas of business, agriculture and forestry, housekeeping, the development of the school and everyday life in Mönchwinkel. Visitors can not only look at many of the historic items shown at the local history museum. Quite a few items are also available for a hands-on experience.
