Information boards and the tourist information centre provide information from the municipalities of Brieskow-Finkenheerd, Vogelsang, Ziltendorf with the districts of Aurith and Ernst-Thälmann-Siedlung, Wiesenau and Groß Lindow for individual discovery tours in the Schlaube Oderland region. The region between the Oder, Schlaube, Oder-Spree Canal and Friedrich-Wilhelm Canal (also known as the Brieskow Canal) is criss-crossed by the Ziltendorfer Niederung, directly on the Oder-Neisse cycle path between Eisenhüttenstadt and Frankfurt (Oder).

Along the waterways, nature lovers can stroll through forests and meadows and stop for a bite to eat with dedicated hosts. Specialities are served in cosy and lovingly furnished inns. Art workshops open their doors to visitors.
