The tour takes you through the Spreewald at its most pristine. The tour is ideal for guests who are experienced and would like to set off on a discovery tour through the Spreewald. In about four hours, the suggested route takes you past meadow orchards, grazing fields and haystacks. With a little luck, a coypu will cross your path or kingfisher and dragonfly will be your companions.

Length: 9.5 kilometres, approximately 4 hours

Boat rental/start: Kleiner Spreewaldhafen, Waldschlösschen harbour, Bootshaus Rehnus, Hafen Zur alten Aalreuse, harbour at Waldhotel Eiche

Route: Kleine Spree – Weidengraben – Großes Fließ – Leiper Graben – Burg-Lübbener Kanal – Stilles Fließ – Kleine Spree

Level of difficulty: medium, for experienced paddlers

Tip: Round off the day in the warm brine of the Spreewald thermal spas.

Maps/Literature:

A detailed water touring map is recommended for optimum preparation and planning of this paddle tour. This is available at the tourist information centre or can be ordered from the online shop on the website.
