Consecrated on November 14, 1954, this church was designed by Karl Streckebach of the Berlin Church Construction Department. The interior design was created by Fritz Steudtner, who was also involved in restoring the Kreuzkirche in Dresden. The church is a listed building due to its very solid construction.
