The Schwielochsee station is the perfect starting point for exploring over 13 square kilometres of idyllic countryside by raft. On the southern shore, on the edge of the Spreewald, the charming villages of Goyatz and Jessern offer great swimming spots, shops and restaurants serving regional specialities.

  • Route highlight: On this stretch, you’ll see unspoilt nature and, with a bit of luck, you might spot beavers and bats.

  • Insider tip: Opt for a tour heading north. After crossing Schwielochsee, you’ll reach Glower See and Leißnitzsee before continuing along the old riverbed of the Spree. On this stretch of around 40 kilometres towards Beeskow, the Spree is virtually untouched – here you can enjoy absolute tranquillity and will encounter hardly any other boat traffic.

  • The rafts: space for up to eight people, no licence required and equipped with a weather-protected cabin.
